In short: If you believe your site was reported or listed by Phishvoid by mistake, tell us using the form below. A person reviews every appeal and we reply to each one. If we were wrong, we withdraw our reports and ask every provider and blocklist we contacted to reverse their action.
Who this page is for
This page is for owners and operators of websites who think their site was reported, blocked or listed as phishing because of a report we made. You might be a business whose site resembles a client’s brand, a reseller, a developer whose test page was flagged, or the owner of a site that was hacked and has since been cleaned.
If you want to report a phishing site instead, please use the report form.
What we check
A member of our team reviews the case again by hand. We look at:
- the evidence we recorded when we verified the site, including screenshots, timestamps and technical details;
- what the site shows now, and whether any phishing content is still present;
- whether the site impersonates a brand or collects logins, payment details or other personal data under false pretences;
- any explanation or documents you send us, such as proof that you are authorized to use a brand.
Our process for verifying sites in the first place is described in our methodology.
If we were wrong
If the review shows that our report was a mistake, we:
- withdraw our reports and close the case;
- tell every host, registrar, CDN, blocklist and other provider we reported to that the report was a mistake, and ask them to reverse any action they took;
- remove any public record of the case from our side.
If your site was compromised and the phishing content has since been removed, we re-check it and, once it is clean, tell the providers we reported to that it no longer serves phishing.
What we cannot do
We do not control third-party blocklists, hosts or registrars. Each of them makes its own decisions and works at its own pace, so we cannot guarantee when, or whether, a listing is removed. What we can do is send each of them a clear correction. Many blocklists also accept review requests directly from site owners, and you can contact them in parallel.
How we handle your appeal
Every appeal is read and reviewed by a person, and we reply to every one, including when we decide that the original report stands. In that case we explain why. You can also write to us at abuse@phishvoid.com.
Your data
We use the information you send with an appeal only to review the appeal, reply to you and correct our reports where needed. We do not publish it and we do not share it except with the providers we contact to correct a report, and then only what they need. For details, see our Privacy Policy.
Use the form below to tell us which site you mean and why you believe the report was a mistake. The more detail you give, such as the exact URL and any notice you received from a provider, the faster we can find the case and review it.
